About Truvia® Sweeteners

From sweetening your coffee to sweetening your favorite baked goods, our Truvia sweeteners allow you to enjoy great tasting sweetness from the stevia leaf.

Our Sweeteners

We believe sweetness was meant to be enjoyed. That's why we created products that allow you to reduce calories, not flavor. Born from the leaves of the stevia plant, Truvia is supported by the firm belief that sweetness does not have to be sacrificed.

Stevia Leaf Extract

TRU FY24 SC Granulated Brown Coffee Cake Final

Native to parts of South America, the leaves of the stevia plant have been used as a sweetener in teas and medicines for hundreds of years. Born from the best tasting parts of the leaves of the stevia plant, stevia leaf extract is the main sweetening ingredient in Truvia Stevia Leaf Sweeteners.

Ethical, Responsible, Sustainable Stevia

At Truvia, we work hard to ensure that the stevia we source is not only the best-tasting, highest quality stevia available – but also sustainably and responsibly produced.

Three Ingredients. Infinite Possibilities.

Leaf cluster with crystals

Truvia Calorie-free Stevia Sweetener is made with simply three ingredients: stevia leaf extract, erythritol and natural flavors. To make Truvia Calorie-free Stevia Sweetener, we first take the sweetest part of the stevia leaf and extract its natural sweetness. But stevia leaf extract is 200 times sweeter than sugar, so to balance the sweetness we add a sugar alcohol called erythritol. Then we add a special recipe of natural flavors to create great-tasting, zero calorie sweetness.

Flavors

Flavors are used to bring out the best of Truvia Calorie-Free Sweetener, similar to how spices enhance the taste of food.

From Stevia to Truvia Sweetener

In six stages, the sweetness of stevia makes the journey from harvest to your kitchen. By always following this series of steps, we ensure we obtain the best tasting parts of the stevia leaf to use in our sweeteners to add to your favorite dishes.
